📖 About Showcase

Showcase is the official interactive Pokedex showcase designed for the Pokémon 3D API. Discover over 1,300 Pokémon models with features like real-time animation, generation filtering, and performance comparisons between raw and Draco-optimized GLB assets.

🚀 Getting Started

To get started with Showcase, you need to download the application from our Releases page. Follow the steps below to ensure a smooth setup:

1. Visit the Release Page Go to the Releases page to find the latest version of Showcase.

2. Choose Your Version On the Releases page, you will see a list of versions. Look for the latest release. Each release will have a tag indicating the version number. Click on the version number link for more details.

3. Download the Application Under the selected version, find the download link for your operating system. Click to start the download.

4. Locate the Downloaded File Once the download completes, check your computer’s Downloads folder. The file should be named something like Showcase.exe for Windows, or Showcase.dmg for macOS.

5. Run the Application

   • For Windows: Double-click on Showcase.exe. You may see a security warning. If so, click “Run” to proceed.
   • For macOS: Open the Showcase.dmg file and drag the Showcase app into your Applications folder. After that, open it from the Applications folder.

⚙️ System Requirements

Before installing Showcase, ensure your system meets the following requirements:

• Operating System: Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.13 or later
• Memory: At least 4 GB of RAM
• Graphics: A recent graphics card that supports WebGL 2.0
• Browser Compatibility: Latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari for the best experience

💬 Using Showcase

Once you have successfully installed Showcase, follow these steps to explore the Pokémon models:

1. Open Showcase Launch the Showcase application.

2. Browse Pokémon Models Use the navigation menu to browse through the extensive library of Pokémon models. You can filter by generation to quickly find your favorite Pokémon.

3. Interact with the Models Click on any Pokémon to view it in 3D. You can rotate, pan, and zoom to examine the details. Use the animation options to see how your Pokémon moves in real time.

4. Compare Performance Showcase allows you to compare the performance of raw GLB assets versus Draco-optimized models. Select the comparison mode to get insights into the rendering performance on your device.
